I’m so happy for a new South Asian restaurant in the neighborhood! Nanglo opened yesterday and I went in for a couple of appetizers. The goat sukuti and samosa chaat were both delicious and portions were very generous.

A brand new Nepalese / Indian restaurant on the H Street corridor. Situated on H & 13, Nanglo is tastefully decorated. Bright open windows and hanging beaded ropes give the restaurant an open ambiance.

Incredible Indian and Nepalese cuisine on H street! I had probably the best Rogan Josh curry of my life. Service, food, and atmosphere are stellar. Definitely go and enjoy it!

BEAUTIFUL new Indian cuisine restaurant off of H St. in NoMa. Great atmosphere and very attentive and welcoming owner and server. Everything was served hot and fresh for a good price. We were told they opened Sept 5. 2025 and will have obtained their liquor license by the end of the month to open up the bar area!!

Such a gem! Authentic Nepali flavors and the thali is the star for a sampler of great flavors —fresh, balanced, and endlessly satisfying. The biryani and house-made pickles are amazing, the kuruani as dessert is a must-try! The staff make you feel right at home. Cozy spot you’ll want to come back to!

We went during the soft opening. Tried a bunch of dishes including buffalo momo (the version we had was in a soup, but there were multiple options), chicken 65, chow min noodles, and goat sukuti. Everything was great, especially the momos, and prices were reasonable. I want to try the goat curry next time.

We were there for dinner last night and the food was 10/10. From the appetizers to dessert, the chef made it very special. For authentic Indian/Nepali food, you should definitely check it out.
